Summer birds gone... Goodbye, painted buntings. I enjoyed seeing you, house finches. Indigo buntings, I miss you.

Winter birds, not here yet. Sparrows of the fox, song, Harris's, white-throated sort: I can't wait to see you.

Goldfinches: I have the thistle seed waiting.

  1. You haven't posted for a while so I hope all is ok.

    I've been erratic in the last few months because of moving from Dorset to Yorkshire - and because I'm now in a very urban environment (instead of in the countryside and by the sea) I've moved to a new blog to avoid confusion. It's Loose and Leafy in Halifax -
